Supporting the unsheltered & financially underprivileged
in our community

There are thousands of unhoused people in Sonoma County, and they deserve dignity, love, and support.

We are a volunteer run non-profit whose mission is to provide basic necessities, resources, and advocacy to enrich the well-being of the homeless and financially underprivileged in our community.

It’s hard to get back on your feet when you’re cold and hungry.

Every human being needs food, water, warmth, shelter, and safety. It’s incredibly difficult to meet these needs for yourself when you’re on the streets or living in a vehicle. We help people meet these basic needs so that their quality of life improves and they can focus on something more than mere survival.

HYGIENE KITS, COVID-19

And Our Work

At Sonoma County Acts of Kindness we took the global pandemic seriously and implemented additonal safety protocols at every level of our work. Our community is composed of vulnerable and underserved populations who do not have access to services many people take for granted. We provide those services as best we can.

We provide hygiene items year round to our unsheltered community.

  • All of our volunteers are fully vaccinated and boosted, wear masks when interacting with the public, and wear gloves and masks when preparing food.

  • During the pandemic we conducted regular workshops to prepare personal hygiene kits for the unsheltered that contained extra items for protection against covid. These included: face masks, hand sanitizer, wipes, soap, toiletries, and other important survival items such as flashlights, mylar blankets, gift cards, etc.

  • We are so grateful to have a network of amazing people and businesses willing to help us keep our community safe. We would like to thank our community partners, notably:

    Mask Sonoma

    The Living Room

    The Commission on Human Rights

    Griffo Distillery

    HPEACE

    Face 2 Face

    Code Red
